Breaking of Bread
Sunday mornings at 11.15
We meet on Sunday mornings to break bread and drink wine in memory of the Lord Jesus, in obedience to his commandment.
The meeting includes hymn singing, prayers and an exhortational talk. It is mainly of interest to baptised members. Visitors are always welcome but only baptised members are invited to share the bread and wine.
Bible Hour
Sunday afternoons at 2.00
See our Home Page for details of the next planned Bible Hour.
The purpose of this meeting is to present some aspect of the gospel message from the Bible. The format varies from time to time but, generally, is as follows:
- Prayer
- Bible reading
- Bible address by one speaker, often aided by a computer-based presentation or other visual aids
- Prayer
The whole meeting lasts about an hour. It is led by a president who also does the Bible reading and speaks the prayers on behalf of everyone present. We have Bibles available for loan to visitors who need them.
The theme of the address varies widely from week to week but it is always firmly based on the Bible.
Bible hours are usually held on the second and fourth Sundays of each month, but this changes from time to time. Always check our Home Page
for information about the next planned meeting.
You can see video of many of our Bible Hour presentations in the Video Gallery.
Bible Study Class
Wednesday evenings at 8.00
The purpose of this meeting is to study the Bible. The usual format is very similar to that of the Sunday afternoon meeting except that we usually start and finish with a hymn and the address is more concerned with Bible study than presentation of the gospel. This meeting finishes at about 9.00 pm
At present, our Bible Classes are held by Zoom video conferencing. If you would like to join us, please contact us.
Young People
We believe it is vital that young people learn from the Bible about God, His Son Jesus Christ and the future Kingdom to be established on the Earth. This will help them lead a properly balanced and responsible life and give them a hope for the future. We hope that, as they grow in understanding of God‘s Word, they will make their own decision to follow Jesus. We know from experience that the young people find great enjoyment in the time they spend together in activities centred around Bible study.
Please consider sending your children to Pathfinders.
Pathfinders
